ABC Anchors was established in 1999, focusing on the manufacture and supply of world-leading screw anchors, which come with our 100-year design life guarantee. In 2005 we developed our Handheld Anchor Installer which is very popular in our hire fleet. We work closely with our sister company, Autoguide Equipment, who provide an extensive range of torque heads.
Screw piles are the 21st century alternative for foundation work. Screw Piling requires no excavation prior to or during installation, and therefore requires no waste disposal. Screw piles can be driven in at any angle and provide excellent resistance to the effects of expansive soil heave. They are repeatedly specified as the foundation of choice for building in tree protection areas. The installation process uses a torque motor to smoothly drive piles into the ground and requires no hammering or vibratory action to do so, meaning low noise and no vibration.
