Screw Pile Range

ABC Anchors Stand: 504

Our standard range of screw piles come in diameters ranging from 60mm to 89mm, excluding helices, and with a wall thickness between 6.35mm and 9.5mm. Torque limits range from 4 kNm to 22.5 kNm. In most conditions, provided the top 2 metres are galvanised, the pile life will be in excess of 100 years. Additional steps can be taken for protection in salt water and peat areas.

Screw piles are the 21st century alternative for foundation work. Screw Piling requires no excavation prior to or during installation, and therefore requires no waste disposal. Screw piles can be driven in at any angle and provide excellent resistance to the effects of expansive soil heave. They are repeatedly specified as the foundation of choice for building in tree protection areas. The installation process uses a torque motor to smoothly drive piles into the ground and requires no hammering or vibratory action to do so, meaning low noise and no vibration.

If you have any questions relating to the technical specifications of our screw piles, or would like to discuss custom options, please get in touch.
