With over 30 years of experience of working in architecture and planning in the South /
Southwest of England, Russell’s residential work includes successful planning
approvals for barn conversions, new build private homes in the countryside (including a
zero emissions house in the Devon), works to, and within the grounds of, listed building
(Grades I, II* and II) and high-end bespoke interior fit outs for London townhouses.
MIME specialises in both design and planning consultancy, providing successful
strategies for all our clients and for difficult and sensitive sites within the countryside,
National Parks and AONB’s.
Current projects include new and self-build houses in the countryside, a large extension
with full energy upgrades to a bungalow, a “Paragraph 84” house in Devon and strategy
& design advice for a “Paragraph 84” House in Somerset.
We provide a full Architect’s service for domestic refurbishments/alterations/extensions
with a construction budget of £150k or over but are happy to provide an Ideation /
Sketch Design service to help Clients with ideas for smaller projects.
